[Event Report] DGDV Hosted an Official Side Event of SF Tech Week 2026

On Friday, October 9, 2026 (PDT), DGDV hosted “Is Japan the Next Strategic Capital Hub? Opportunities for Global VCs and Startups,” an official side event of SF Tech Week 2026 organized by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), at DG717 in San Francisco.
The program featured messages from the Japanese government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, a panel discussion with U.S. VCs, and English pitches by six companies selected for Tokyo’s “SusHi Tech Global” program, introducing Japan’s investment opportunities to global investors. More than 1,000 people registered, including over 150 overseas investors.
